The Word of God commands us as parents to teach His Word to our children at all times; in all we endeavor. As Christian educators and caregivers, we also have the responsibility to guide, teach, reproach, and encourage children according to God’s Word. In our program, we place emphasis on the wonder of learning. Children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and learn in a creative, informal manner. We believe developing this attitude toward learning will be beneficial for a lifetime. However, the most important part of our job is to provide the precious little ones in our care with an abundance of love, nurture and attentiveness to ensure that our sweet students thrive, enjoy their time with us and grow strong in the Lord.

Our Center provides preschool programs beginning with toddlers through the 3K class. Children may be enrolled in morning PRESCHOOL only (8:00am -11:30am) for our 2K and 3K classes when they turn 2 or 3 years of age on/by September 1st of the current school year. We ask that children in these programs try to consistently be on time, in order not to disrupt classroom learning time. Children must be potty-trained before starting 3K. Children should not be dropped off later than 10am without prior administrative approval. We do not allow drop-off during naptimes.

Dillon Christian Preschool & Childcare began in 1985 as a mission of First Presbyterian Church to provide part-time childcare to stay-at-home moms. It has developed into a full-time program that continues as a mission to the parents of our community. Age-specific curriculum is a part of our program to allow for creative play with structured learning times. Time for free play and nap time is also a scheduled part of our childcare curriculum. Our childcare program is available from 7:00am until 5:45pm, Monday thru Friday, and incorporates ages 6 weeks thru 3-year-old preschool.
